What is banto booking?#

banto booking is an online research management tool that helps you manage your appointments and resources. With banto booking you are able to easily schedule your appointments, share your events and collaborate with others, if you like. banto booking also offers complete data privacy as you are free to install it locally on your own servers.

How does it work?#

banto booking works like an online blackboard. You release a posting to participants and they can sign up for it. Resources are all sorts of things that might be shared between people, e.g. rooms, computers, fMRI scanners, etc. banto allows the scheduling of these resources, too, either as part of a posting or by itself. There is a calendar for all resources, which informs you of the availability of your desired resource. In addition to that there are several other useful functions:

• create postings, appointments and events
• choose your participants by number and/or properties
• select items you may need for your appointment
• take all these factors into consideration when creating an appointment
• see all of this at one glance in the integrated calendar, you can also easily export to iCal
